Hey Amy.  Saw your comment on Laoch's site.  I am doing good.  He is refering to the car accident I  was in nearly 2 years ago now.  I have recovered as much as I am going to.  The affects are going to be felt more in my later years.  I believe you heard about it at the time.   It was shortly after that when I went private.....to so that I could still post things about the accident and not affect the legal stuff.  I have actually taken my site down as I really don't have much time for it anymore.  I am still around a bit in cyber space.  Hope you have a great new year!

Hey, I read the comment you left on Violent Marge's latest entry (http://spaces.msn.com/cheezmo/blog/cns!3A4CC250153C97B8!6218.entry) and I thought I'd pay you a visit.  The part

 

"I got this horoscope emailed to me a few days ago that made me go hmm.  It said something to the effect of stop doing things for people to only expect that they turn around and appreciate it and do things for me.  Stop being angry about it and trying to guilt them into it and take care of myself because I'm a grown up enough to."

 

This is not only somewhat right, it's dead on right, and not because it comes from a horoscope.  This is universal shit.  Everyone should learn to take responsibility for their own lives.  I have been where you are, have done the good deeds, and been the helping han d, the strong back, the rock.  However, in all of these things we do, despite what we tell ourselves, we are looking for something in return.  We are looking for approval, and appreciation, and reciprocation in our time of want/need.  However, this just sets one up for disappointment.

 

I hope you don't take all this wrong.  You seem like a pretty nice, together kind of person.  Just thought these words might help you is all.
